The 19 inch LCD TVs are a very popular choice with people who want a mid-sized screen that is easily visible but not too large.
The 19 inch LCD TVs come in two formats; the square screens and the widescreen 19 inch LCD TVs. The widescreen TVs are better for watching movies as they are made in widescreen as is much of today's television programmes and so they are probably the best choice, they are wider and not as tall though and so this can have an impact on the screen type that you choose.
Also look for 19 inch LCD TVs that are HD ready as these have a much better on-screen quality when watching an HD source such as an HD DVD or HD digital television. And some have a Freeview digital tuner built-in too so that you can easily enjoy digital television with your new 19 inch LCD TV.
