Freeview is a free digital television service on the UK that offers a whole host of digital television channels.
When you buy an LCD TV there are lots that have a Freeview digital tuner built into the TV and so they are very simple to use. For example you do not need a set-top-box and you also do not need an extra remote control and so it means you need much less equipment.
